Dear friends and partners,
We wanted to say that we are thinking of you in these uncertain times. Though we wish it were under different circumstances, we are grateful that we can still unite as a global digital community. The COVID-19 pandemic is showing us how powerful healthy, everyday practices can be. From hand-washing to the global impact of individual actions like staying at home to protect those in poor health.
We're living in extraordinary times and learning more about COVID-19 every day. People are at the heart of our business, so taking care of our people is incredibly important to us at PANGAIA. This is why this week and until further notice, all office-based PANGAIA teams are working remotely. Our production facilities remain open for now, as we are also mindful of the need to support our small, mostly family-run European suppliers. Meanwhile, we are doing our very best to protect their staff well-being through additional health and safety measures.
As we are a direct-to-consumer business, our online store remains open. We are working closely with our suppliers to ensure their safety, while also making sure to fulfil and dispatch orders as fast as possible. Our customer service team is always available, so please continue to reach out through our digital channels.
We hope you and your families stay healthy and safe. We truly believe we will come out of this stronger and more connected than ever, together.
How We’re Trying To Help
Personal Protective Equipment Statement, 31st March
We have committed to pivot our resources during these challenging times and to produce the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that is vital to medical workers' lives.
We are working with some of our partner factories to transform parts of our production to produce PPE, so that we can support the thousands of incredible doctors, medical workers and everyone on the frontline, putting their lives at an even higher risk due to the shortage of PPE. While we are a young start-up, just a year into our journey, we believe in doing more, whenever and wherever possible.
10,000 N95 surgical masks donated to Mount Sinai Hospital, 16th April
Today, we delivered 10,000 N95 surgical masks to the Mount Sinai Hospital in Queens, one of the hardest-hit boroughs in New York. Although we are a young start up, our collective efforts with you all, our partners, our friends at @JUST, @bethennyfrankel, #BStrong among others, is what has really made this possible.
We thank and salute all heroes putting their lives at risk for us and our future - the incredible doctors, medical workers and everyone on the frontline fighting Covid-19.
We encourage everyone and anyone to try to help in any and all ways they can. From making sure you #StayHome to protect others, to participating in challenges to raise money for everyone on the frontline battling Covid-19. What are the little things you can do today to make a big difference?
