The PANGAIA brand color orange was inspired by clownfish that form a symbiotic relationship with anemones. The toxic anemone provides protection from predators and leftovers for the clownfish. In return, the clownfish drives off intruders and preens the anemone (by removing parasites). All clownfish are born male with the ability to switch their sex (which is irreversible). Sometimes the change is made when mating. Two males will become mates and the larger, dominant fish will become the female. If the female dies, the dominant male will become a female to replace her.
